Warren Point attended WVU and Harvard Medical School. After working at Massachusetts General Hospital, MIT, and Harvard Medical School, he returned to his native Charleston to teach at the WVU Medical Center in 1977. He chaired the department of medicine at Charleston Area Medical Center until 1990. He died in 2003.
