Russ Barbour currently serves as a documentary producer for West Virginia Public Broadcasting, his employer for over 30 years. In 2009, the West Virginia Filmmakers Festival named him Filmmaker of the Year for Best Feature Documentary, Reconstructing Bill: The Story of Governor William C. Marland. Barbour is a graduate of Southern West Virginia Community College and Marshall University.
