e-WV: The West Virginia Encyclopedia Online

Hazel P. Wooster attended Howard University, received her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia State University, and received a master’s degree in special education from Marshall University. Now retired, she taught at Ferguson Elementary, Mary Ingles, Chandler, and Shawkey, when she was awarded “Special Education Teacher of the Year.” A former curriculum specialist, she is member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
